The Music Department at Midwestern State University has offices and classrooms in three buildings on campus: the new Fain Instrumental Music Building, the Hardin Administration Building, and the Fain Fine Arts Center. In 2010, the MSU Band Program moved into their new building on the east side of the Fain Fine Arts Center.
Akin Auditorium is the principal performing hall for music activities at Midwestern State University.
