Colorguard & Winterguard
Welcome to the home of the MSU Guard. The winterguard was a semi-finalist at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio in 2005-07, and has competed in Winterguard International and the North Texas Colorguard Association, as well as the Texas Colorguard Circuit and the Mid-America Performing Arts Association in Oklahoma.
MSU has been actively competing since 1991, and is one of the few “Independent A Winterguards” in the nation sponsored by a university music program.
The 2013 guard used Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro” for a soundtrack, and were under the direction of Katie Graham. Assisting with the guard were Amber Delozier and Elizabeth Ivey.

The 2014 guard will be under the direction of Michael Sanchez, who will be joining the MSU family.
